1. 08/03/26: Placed an order for a foldable table and a glue removing agent. IMPORTANT: The table was advertised with an image that made it look as though the table top was 1 piece with only the legs folding away, which was what I was looking for
2. 08/03/26: Received confirmation of my order, stating that the table would take 7 days to deliver, the glue remover 14 days
3. 15/03/26: Requested an update with an estimated delivery date of my order
4. 15/03/26: Was ensured that the order had been given to the delivery company, and that delivery would be in the next two days or so
5. 08/04/26: Unsuccessfully tried calling the company, and sent them an e-mail reminding them of my order and my previous messages
6. 09/04/26: Received a reply e-mail with an apology that placed the blame squarely on the delivery company
7. 12/04/26: (morning) Was overjoyed when I received and SMS informing me that my delivery was on its way
8. 12/04/26: (evening) Received only the glue remover. I had my son call the shop immediately (I was fuming and would not have wanted to explode), asking where the rest of my order was. Unsurprisingly, again they placed the blame squarely on the delivery company. They were in no way to blame, and they told my son how very unfortunate it was that I HAD NOT CONTACTED THEM ABOUT IT EARLIER!
9. 13/04/26: Received the table, with a table top that folds in two, which constitutes a weakness in the centre of the table that I cannot afford. Its purpose in my house will be to sort/store a large collection of books!
10. Meanwhile, several larger retailers, including supermarkets, are selling the same table for less money, and advertised with an honest, not photo-shopped picture that clearly shows the seam in the middle of the table, where the top folds in two.
